The new Glider-3 includes several updates compared to the Glider Meridian. It features a highly convenient integrated TSA lock and an internal compartment designed for an AirTag. The bag itself is significantly sturdier, more spacious—longer, wider, and, most notably, deeper—giving it a more rounded shape than its predecessor. Despite this, the folding mechanism has been refined, resulting in more compact dimensions when packed away in its box. Furthermore, the protective padding around the golf clubs has been strategically positioned to provide superior protection. All these enhancements come with a bolder, more rugged aesthetic, though they do add 670 grams to the total weight.
The packaging has also been improved; the original, rather thin cardboard has been replaced by highly durable, sturdy cardboard that includes a built-in handle. This makes it perfect for storage after your trip, as the box is precisely the right size. While we always add extra protective cardboard for shipping—ensuring the same level of transport safety—the new packaging is far better suited for gifting. A fantastic, robust travel bag arriving in a flimsy, potentially dented box doesn't make for a great presentation; this new packaging, by contrast, looks like a premium gift straight from the display window of a luxury boutique—a much better match for the quality of the product inside.
